Supply Chain Audits and Qualification
Supplier qualification audits (second-party audits) are systematic evaluations performed by a company on its suppliers to optimise the management and control of the supply chain. This type of audit is essential to guarantee that suppliers comply with given requirements, and to ensure that the materials or services supplied comply with the necessary technical specifications and quality standards.
Pegaso offers consultancy, assistance and technical support in the implementation of the Supply Chain qualification process through an organic process of supplier qualification and assessment via procedures, sets of rules, checklists and audit reports:
-
Technical Supply Procedure
Document containing the conformity requirements requested of the suppliers by the customer as a guarantee of the product supply chain.
-
Initial Qualification
Verification of the suppliers’ ability to guarantee the production and quality standards defined by the customer through pre-assessment questionnaires and field audits.
-
Periodic Audits
Suppliers are audited periodically on the basis of the results of the preceding audit in order to ensure that the qualification of product suppliers is maintained over time.
Pegaso has a team of consultants and auditors available to support companies, as well as an IT system (software) for the digital and smart management of the supplier qualification and periodic audit process, including product audits.
